Pop star Lady Gaga is reportedly planning to pay a tribute to fashion designer Alexander McQueen with her performance at the BRIT awards this year.


The Poker Face hitmaker admitted that she is still “in shock” over McQueen’s tragic suicide on Thursday as she posted a photograph of her with the fashion great on her Twitter page. “I am still in shock and I just can’t believe how sad it all is,” Gaga wrote on Twitter.


The 23-year-old singer also claimed that McQueen had a big influence on some of her outrageous outfits which are as famous as her hit songs, reported Sun online. “It’s horrible news. He was a big influence on a lot of my outfits but far more than that he was a really lovely guy with a good heart,” said the singer.


Gaga was the “unofficial muse” for McQueen’s unconventional creations, according to the designer’s publicist.
